Although Akropolis remains one of the premier live music venues in Prague, it's probably better known as a versatile bar. It's two small bars and tiny dance floor cater to a variety of musical tastes and each night of the week has it's own theme (reggae, hip-hop, electro, etc). A favorite of backpackers from the nearby hostel, expats and scene setting locals looking for a change of pace. Best of all, it's open late 7 days a week.
